so here we are
wow, the chaos has settled. this website was down for a period of time over the weekend and the process of switching to a new location seemed a bit out of hand. there is still a lot of work that needs to be done here and i’m ready for it. i’m also ready to be a permanent employee somewhere. a homeowner? not quite there yet. a mrs? bring it. we still need to find someone to marry us, figure out the invitations, and buy something to wear. everything else is set. well, except for the registry. it’s kind of tough going shopping for yourselves knowing you can add whatever you want. there are so many styles of flatware! and this morning i don’t have time to talk pots and pans.
people keep reminding me that i have a lot going on. they can see my cluttered mind. i’m going to spend a quiet moment this morning staring at the wall. thanks for finding the site again!
I’ve seen some sites and princessinvitations.com looks pretty neat-o for wedding invites.
I’m also still workin’ on finding an affordable JP/minister/whathaveyou. You’d think the cap region would be full of them!
even the ministers are making a buck on weddings? i don’t know about that industry.
if you have any artsy-minded friends (or graphic designer buddies,) you should just commission them to do the invites. they end up being so much lovelier and i’m sure a friend would love to help – that could even be their gift to you!
a great idea! that is what we are doing! i just thought the process would be a bit easier. something like "hey, we like these colors and this font. please make something." it’s more like "how do you want to word things? what stock of paper do you like? let’s talk envelopes." we have homework due tomorrow! we are so grateful to be working with a talented and patient designer.
